Fitness kickboxing is a workout that consists of you and a bag. It teaches you the fundamentals
of kicks, punches, knees and elbows while incorporating them into a cardio exercise that will
leave you sweating, breathing heavy and wanting more!
What is an average Class Like?
An average kickboxing class is an hour long and will begin with a 15 minute warm up and stretching period. It will then move on to simple combinations of kicks, punches, knees and elbows while throwing in different plyometric and bodyweight exercises. The instructor always demonstrates every new combination a few times and then walks around the class to make sure that each person understands the new combination and has the proper form for each movement. These combinations will continue to grow in variety and difficulty as the class continues. There is a water break halfway through the class even though you are allowed to get water at any time throughout the class if you need it. After the water break is a few more minutes of combinations before 5-10 minutes of ab work to finish out the class.
